The Arapahoe Philharmonic seeks opportunities to promote an interest in classical music with youth, to support the education of youth on the advantages and opportunities of classical music performance, and to develop or support classical music performance opportunities for youth in the community.

 

Supporting education through sectional work with the Continental League Honor Orchestra and our Children's Concert are our main thrust this year.  If you would like a visit to your school by AP musicians or our conductor, please contact the office.

 

Arapahoe Philharmonic's Children's Concerts take place every year with not only orchestral music, but also an entire concert climate designed for kids. The orchestra members demonstrate their instruments and some even allow the kids to play! These friendly musicians, many of whom are teachers themselves, enthusiastically answer any questions the kids have. The Narrator/MC and the uniquely crafted program makes the performance fun and age-appropriate.
